CYTOGAN 500MG TABLET contains Ganciclovir, which belongs to the group of
medicines called Antivirals. It is used for the management of cytomegalovirus
disease in immune-compromised individuals and the management of CMV disease in
transplant recipients.

Before the management, your doctor may want you to take several blood tests to
understand your current condition. Do not take this medicine if you have ever
had a severe allergic reaction to any of the antiviral medicines.

It is not recommended if you have any pre-existing cytopenia or a history of
cytopenic reactions to other drugs, chemicals, or irradiation. Inform your
